Audition Results 2025

Thank you to all who auditioned for Evergreen Philharmonic! There were 198 auditions this year and the competition was intense! While not all applicants are will be admitted to the orchestra for next year, I do hope that each of you gained valuable experience through the audition process, which is a challenging aspect of music performance. I hope that each of you will continue your musical growth in whichever ensemble you are in next year. 

Please be aware that there are several reasons why you might not have been accepted at this time. Some examples are: there were not enough openings in your sections of the orchestra; balance considerations in the orchestra forced a limit to the number of players on certain instruments, your performance is not yet at the level required, or perhaps not following directions in the audition process. I hope that you will continue to strive toward excellence on your instrument and that you will audition again next year if you are eligible to do so. In the meantime, I hope that you will continue playing in an ensemble so that you can grow your skills to better audition next year. A "no" this year, does not mean there isn't possibility in the future.

For those who had successful auditions for Evergreen: congratulations! Some things for you to do:

• E-mail me at weitzsackerl@issaquah.wednet.edu to accept your invitation to the orchestra. This should be done by this Friday, March 14 @ 4:00 PM.

• Look for an e-mail reply in the coming weeks with further instructions to prepare you for next year.

If you were not invited to Evergreen Philharmonic for next year but were invited to either Issaquah Chamber Strings or Skyline Chamber Strings (Liberty Chamber Strings results will be available in the near future from Mr. Schumacher), please also e-mail the respective director to accept the invitation to the orchestra.

I invite all, especially those who will be in Evergreen next year, to attend the remaining performances for the year.
